Started by the United States Senate proclamation, Endangered Species Day encourages people of all ages to learn about the importance of protecting endangered animals and what actions can be taken to help preserve the future of these species.

The Zoo will celebrate this day with Zookeeper talks every hour on endangered species at the Miller Park Zoo.

To register for events call (309) 434-2260, or go to the 24-hour internet registration system and follow the directions on the start page. Use the same Client Barcode and Family PIN that you use for RecLine. If you do not have an account with us yet, phone the Recreation office at (309) 434-2260. Since all registrations must be paid for before they are completed, you will also need a valid VISA or MasterCard.
