Frogwatch beginning at Miller Park Zoo

  • Introduction: A training course will be hosted at Miller Park Zoo on Thursday, March 30th at 5:30 p.m. in the MPZ main classroom. Reservations are required. Free.

FrogWatch USA is a Citizen Science program of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) that offers individuals an opportunity to learn about the wetlands in their community, to identify local frog and toad calls and to report data.

 

If you have an interest in learning about frogs and toads, have the commitment to learn and identify individual frog calls, and the ability to regularly visit a local wetland for data collection from now until August you can be Citizen Scientist for Frogwatch.

Use the same Client Barcode and Family PIN that you use for RecLine. If you do not have an account with us yet, phone the Recreation office at (309) 434-2260. Since all registrations must be paid for before they are completed, you will also need a valid VISA or MasterCard.
