We have a variety of user groups that also offer other skating activities at the Bloomington Ice Center.

• Bloomington Youth Hockey offers travel hockey for those youth players looking for more competitive hockey, this group is USA Hockey sanctioned..
• McLean County Youth Hockey Association offers hockey players in high school a prep league that plays other club high school teams in the area, and the MCYHA is a sanctioned association with USA Hockey.
• Illinois State University (ISU) offers three college club teams. ACHA D1, D2 & D3. All three teams practice and play homes games here at the Bloomington Ice Center and the Grossinger Motors Arena.
• Central Illinois Figure Skating Club - Competitive figure skating.
  And there is a speed skating organization that rents the facility for practices.
• Central Illinois Girls Hockey Association Inc. (NFP) is organized and operated to promote and facilitate recreational All-Girls hockey in rinks throughout Central Illinois at all ages.
• And there is a speed skating organization that rents the facility for practices.
• The Central Illinois Courage where "Hockey is for Everyone"! In the summer 2023 three families formed the Central Illinois Special Hockey Association for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The coaches first teach athletes how to skate independently, then introduce hockey skills. Due to the generous support of sponsors, athletes are supplied with donated equipment and all ice time and coaching are provided at no charge.
• ISU Women's Hockey Club was founded in 2016 and is working towards becoming an official ISU Sport Club. The main goal currently is student-athlete recruitment, while games are played versus local and regional opponents.
