Zoo Master Plan

Miller Park Zoo has developed a Master Plan proposal for the future of the Zoo.

The Master Plan book for the proposal is also available for viewing online.

Construction Update

Parking lot opens and planning for DeBrazza Monkey exhibit has begun.

The new additional parking lot is now open and able to be used. During the next few weeks, the handicapped area is being updated so ADA requirements are met. The area in the front of the Zoo and Park side concessions window, is being completed. These are the last major pieces of the $1.2 million dollar project begun this past spring.

A contract is being worked out for the design of the DeBrazza Monkey exhibit. The goal is to begin construction Spring 2020.


Overnight Programs at the Zoo!

If you're looking for a really unique experience for your scout or youth group, why not reserve an overnight program at the Zoo? Your Zoo host will lead you in games and activities, and give you a personal nighttime tour of the Zoo, as well as a walkabout to see the animals just after sunrise. Your program can meet merit badge requirements or just be an opportunity to have an adventure!

Group members must be at least 8 years of age; there will be one adult present for every 10 kids in your group. The minimum group size is 15; maximum number is 30. An evening snack and light breakfast will be provided. Programs can be scheduled on Friday & Saturday.
