Great Pumpkin Hunt FREE

All Ages Welcome!

Pumpkins will be hidden throughout the Bloomington Parks system for you and your family/friends to find each October! Clues will be released on our BPRD social media channels each week. Find the pumpkin in the park, post a picture in the clue post thread (on Facebook), and be entered to win a prize pack!

Turkey Trot FREE

All Ages Welcome!

Join Bloomington Parks & Recreation and Fleet Feet Bloomington at Miller Park each Thanksgiving morning for this annual tradition! Registration is FREE, and a limited number of commemorative race shirts are available for purchase. This event is not timed, and no awards are given. Monetary donations may be given online, and non-perishable food items will be collected on-site, to support Home Sweet Home Ministries.

9:00 AM - Kids Half-Mile Run

9:15 AM - 3-Mile-Run

9:30 AM - 1.5-Mile Walk

4^th of July in Miller Park

Join the City of Bloomington at Miller Park to celebrate America's Independence Day! Parks and Recreation facilities will be open throughout the day, in addition to some special events for friends and families. Remember to bring your blanket and radio for the annual Sky Concert with fireworks beginning at approximately 9:15PM and set to music on WJBC AM 1230.
